Admittance and Submission vs. Ignorance:

I'm in the midst of finding myself and exploring why it is what I do, something I've been in the middle of for quite the number of years. Yet, whenever I see myself falling into a rut; standing at a stop sign: looking behind, left, right, and ahead, I really try to figure out why I feel that I must live a life that I find perfect and how the thought of it severely frustrates me. So I ask you: why is searching for yourself such a troublesome thing?

Just an idea -
Because you're always moving in different directions, because of your experiences and whatnot. They change you, and lead you onto different paths. Searching for yourself is bound to be tough.

Now where do you think the relationship is there between admittance and submission to finding yourself, versus the possible ignorance of it all?

It's our tendency to over-think everything. Livejournal helps with that, unfortunately.

I think people are too wrapped up in "finding" themselves. I we are all constantly changing; physically, atoms are constantly in motion, never returning to the exact same combination. As we experience new things, have new thoughts, draw new conclusions, we evolve into someonething totally different than we were even 2 seconds ago. I do not believe that Keren now is the same person as Keren 2 years ago. I truly believe we are different characters...but with a connection.

So, instead of "finding" ourselves, I say we try to DEfine ourselves. decided who we WANT to be and work towards that. By the time you think you've figured out where you are, you'll be 10 miles past it anyway.

...and that's what I think, in a nutshell.
